Luke Cowan-Dickie - Exeter Chiefs
Cowan-Dickie was fantastic today as his Exeter side came away with maximum points. They hosted a Harlequins side which struggled to get their backline moving due to the highly pressurized Exeter defence. Cowan-Dickie was at the forefront of that defence, shutting out attack after attack with crunching tackles. He was energetic and lively throughout his stint on the field today. He was always looking for the ball from his teammates and justly got over the line three times for five pointers. His first was an opportunistic score as he pounced on a shaky Harlequins lineout to die over. Following that he twice found himself at the back of rolling mauls to dot down. A fantastic overall performance by the hooker.
Frederic Michalak - Lyon
Michalak led his Lyon side to a fantasic home win over his former employers Toulouse. He led from the front pinning his opponents back on their heels time and time again with intelligent kicks in behind. He was also impressive off the tee, with a kicking percentage of 100% accuracy, which was crucial to his side as they trumped their visitors by 5 points. He scored as much as the entire Toulouse team as he came away with six penalties and one conversion for a total of 20 points. Without a doubt Lyon could not have won this game without their talismanic out-half.
Keelan Giles - Ospreys
