Banahan to call time on career

Former England international Matt Banahan has announced his retirement from the game after a great career.
The massive outside back began his career at Bath where he spent thirteen years before switching over to the club’s arch rivals Gloucester where he will see out the rest of his playing days.
My journey is coming to a end, this will be my last season. I will enjoy what the next so many months have got for me #whatsnextwholnows pic.twitter.com/safHzluDWr

Banahan earned a whopping 251 caps for Bath during his time there before adding another 40 for the Cherry & Whites.
His lethal combination of size (2.01m & 110kg) and speed made him one of the most imposing backline players around. He will be truly missed by George Skivington and co.
