- 2409
Wasps took a 12-7 lead into half time thanks to tries from no.8 Alfie Barbeary and lock James Gaskell.
Montpellier were put on the backfoot early on after a red card to Henry Immelman in the 7th minute. Scrumhalf Benoit Paillaugue then missed two shots at goal with Jimmy Gopperth missing one of his own.
However after an extended period of pressure Wasps' scored the first try of the game as Alfie Barbeary forced his way over the line from close range.
The 20-year-old played a major role in the second try as well as a knock on bounced in his direction and he put in a kick towards the touchline.
From there Wasps pounced as Josh Bassett sped into the 22 before James Gaskell finished off the wonderful score.
