Former Samoa U20 front rower Mike Tamoaieta was named in the North Harbour squad ahead of the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup season.
He had an excellent season with Harbour and earned his first Super Rugby contract with the Blues.
He has 11 provincial caps to his name and will look to make his debut early on in the 2018 Super Rugby season.
Tamoaieta made 10 appearances for the Blues in his debut season.
On March 1, 2019 Mike Tamoaieta sadly passed away at his home aged 23.
