Anthems concluded and kickoff is just moments away
The sides have made their way out onto the field, a moments silence for those affected by the recent Typhoon Hagibis and then it's time for the anthems
Jonathan Davies has been removed from the match day 23 due to an aggravation of the knee injury he sustained in the game against Fiji. Owen Watkin starts at 13 with Leigh Halfpenny coming onto the bench.
Wales and France clash in the third quarter-final of the Rugby World Cup. Wales topped Pool D with four wins from their four matches, recording victories over Australia, Fiji, Georgia and Uruguay. France finished as runners up in Pool C, with wins over Argentina, Tonga and the USA, but their showdown with England to decide the pool was called off due to Typhoon Hagibis. Wales are the current six nations champions, winning the grand slam earlier this year and beating France 24-19 along the way. Head to head these sides have met on 97 occasions, with Wales winning 50 to France's 44 to go along with three draws. The winner of this match will march on to the semi-finals where they will face the victor of hosts Japan and South Africa.
Alun Wyn Jones and George North become the second and third Wales players to play in three Rugby World Cup quarter-finals. Gethin Jenkins was the first to achieve this, playing matches in the last eight in 2003, 2011 and 2015.
Aaron Wainwright, Justin Tipuric, Josh Adams and Hadleigh Parkes keep their places in the starting line-up from the team that beat Uruguay 35-13 on Sunday.
