Bordeaux host Montpellier in round 3 of the French Top 14. Bordeaux began their campaign with a 41-19 win over Pau but then went down to Stade Francais 20-8. Montpellier lost their opener 25-20 to defending champions Castres but bounced back to beat La Rochelle 36-14.
