Well Wasps have come out convincing winners here at the Stade Jean-Bouin and they have secured their European fate for next year as the take the 20th and final place in next years inaugural European Rugby Champion's Cup. From the very start of this game Wasps looked the hungrier side as they came out with all guns blazing scoring an early try in just the 10th minute. Plisson kept them in touch as the teams came in 10-6 at the half. Stade needed to come out and set the pace but it was the pace at which Wasps played and the skills of the whole team shown through their incredible off loading abilities throughout the game. Goode was monumental for Wasps today as he had the ball on a string from his boot and also his backline as he put them through all the holes in the Stade defence as they looked like they would score off every attack. Daly, Masi and Johnson were also of crucial importance to the London side as the set the pace of the game. Stade really just looked off form today and couldn't hack the class of Wasps. Well a big thank you to everyone for joining us here today. Make sure to stay with us as we will bring you live coverage of the Heineken cup final from the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. Here in Paris however Wasps secure their European fate for next year in a much deserved win. Bye for now!
Lets hope Sarries have a win here and London Clubs do the double over the French!
Nigel Owens blows the full time whistle and thats's all we have time for at the Stade Jean-Bouin
Those French fans from Southern France will be pleased with the Wasps win
The final bell tolls and we still have time for the scrum. And it's a penalty against Wasps and Stade go quickly.
Stade knock it on outside their 22 and Wasps will have a chance to run out the time.
Wasps on the attack now but they've lost it and Stade will have a scrum with 3 minutes to go.
And Goode nails it. Wasps almost gauranteed to be playing in top flight European Rugby next year and fully deserved.!
And Stade penalised again and receive a yellow for continued ill-discipline. Goode has another chance from directly infront of the posts 45 mts out.
But he's missed it. Stade still have a chance.
