After a strong finish to the first half, Bath concede early in the second. De Kock spots a hole by the fringes of a ruck. He snaps up the ball and darts through. He then links with Farrell who crosses for the try.

What happened

Rib injury forces Eastmond out of the game. Biggs fills in.

Half time whistle blows and both teams head for the changing rooms. Saracens in front but only by six. Bath looked disinterested in the first quarter but seem to have found their spark. Meanwhile in Exeter, Gloucester are providing Bath with added motivation, contesting for a win which may help Bath into the final six. Interesting second half to come!

After a poor start, Bath are starting to find their rhythm. A terrific break by Devoto brings Bath into the Sarries' twenty-two. Three phases later, a Saracen player enters a ruck illegally. Bath opt for the corner and set the maul off the ensuing line-out. The maul grinds over from 5 metres out and Webber crashes down for the try.

Mercer back on. Bath now with the one man advantage.

Farrell yellow carded for a high tackle on half-way.

Ashton looks to have crossed for another try. Vunipola receives out wide and barrels down the wing. The tackle comes but he slips a superb offload to release Ashton. However, the TMO rules the pass forward and denies the try.

Sarries build their way back into the Bath half and begin to sweep the ball from touch-line to touch-line in search of space. Eventually, de Kock finds the sizeable figure of Vunipola on the wing. Vunipola crashes through two challenges to score. Impressive skill by the Lions' prop to evade touch.
