Half time here at the AJ Bell Stadium in Sale, with Sale Shark leading by 6 points after a good half of rugby in front of a packed out home stadium. Bath started out strong getting a great try through Semesa Rokoduguni and they were also denied a try by TMO. Sale then got into the game with penalties and a try of their own from Forsyth. A very tight game so far, it is very difficult to call a winner at this stage.

Bath respond immediately again this time through a penalty from George Ford after illegal scrummaging. Sale increase their lead immediately also through a kick from Danny Cipriani.

Great play in the last 10 minutes from Sale Sharks who are really putting Bath on the back foot. Quick ball present to the backs from the heavy Sale pack allowed Cipriani to spin the ball wide and the returning Mark Cueto sets up Andy Forsyth to dive into the corner. Cipriani adds the extras from the kick.

After a clash of heads between Andy Forsyth and Rob Miller they both go to the blood bin to get checked out. Joe Ford and Sam Tuitupou come on in the mean time.

Bath unlucky not to get another score after a scintillating run from Alafoti Fa'osiliva leads to referee Andrew Small having to go upstairs the the TMO but Fa'osiliva is denied after a great tackle from Danny Cipriani.

Bath respond immediately with a try from Semesa Rokoduguni to gain the lead. A strong run from Rokoduguni puts Bath back in front. George Ford adds the extras to make it 3-7.

Danny Cipriani gets the first points of the game through a drop goal. After great work from the pack moving up field and getting good field position for Cipriani to get the 3 points.

A good start to the game from both sides, Danny Cipriani had the first chance at goal but was unable to convert the penalty. Then it was the turn of George Ford to take a shot after a high tackle on Jonathan Joseph but was also unlucky and sent the kick wide.
