Its all over here at the Stade Yves du Manoir and the home side hold on to claim victory despite a late onslaught from Brive. A crazy number of yellow cards gave the away team very little chance of ever catching Montpellier but you must admire their efforts! 3 tries within the final 15 minutes was a massive achievement although you felt the montpellian defense did slack off somewhat when the created such a lead. The hosts will be very happy they managed to get their first win under their belts as they look to really have a go at this year's competition. PENALTY TRY MONTPELLIER. Brive, now down to 13 men, simply cannot handle the ruthless pressure from the home side at scrum time. After numerous resets, Poite awards the penalty try which is easily converted by Paillague to maintain his 100% record. 26-3 to Montpellier!

TRY MONTPELLIER. Paillague feeds the Fijian winger Nagusa who runs clear to cross the white wash. This comes off the back of a dominant scrum which provides the platform for the try. Paillague adds the extras! Score is now 19-3 after 47 minutes!
