So a very nervy finish from the Sportsground as Connacht just about manage to hold out for their second win out of two in the Challenge Cup. Brive will be ruing missed opportunities as they came very close to upsetting the match favourites. Connacht tries from Parata, Marmion and Marshall, as well as Brive tries from Acquier, Masilevu and Galala kept this match very close throughout but the difference was in the boot, despite Connacht missing three and Brive missing four. Robbie Henshaw came close to sealing the bonus point for Connacht but the referee decided that the ball had been knocked on. It's Oyonnax next for Brive and Connacht travel to Munster next Saturday for a top-of-the-table clash.
The subs need to up their game
Matamua seemed to be missed at the breakdown to slow Brice down when he was subbed off
