Clermont played the better rugby and may be the technically better side but cup rugby comes down to the grind and grit on the day. Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe will be the hero back in the Mediterranean as his turnover led to Toulon's only try!
The game looked dead at HT but we only had to wait 90 seconds into the second half for the games first try. From there Clermont added to their lead with another try. But Toulon dug deep and it seemed every penny of their million dollar side paid off when they took the lead and held their nerve to finally win the H CUP!!
