Sam kicks off for Manawatu
Both teams have been lead onto the field by their respective captains and we are ready for kickoff.
A very good day to all our Ultimate Rugby viewers. Today we bring you live action from AMI Stadium for a battle between Canterbury and Manawatu.
Today's game will be refereed by Cam Stone. Historically Canterbury are the team with the upper hand winning 28 of the last 40 games, and Manawatu only winning 10.
After an unfortunate defeat to Mako in the opening round, Canterbury have managed to bounce back and secure two bonus point victories.
On the other hand Manawatu got off to a very good start to the season but were let down by their second half performance in New Plymouth during the Shield Challenge. This was followed by a heavy 50 - 17 loss to Otago.
Both teams would have settled their nerves and should be ready to put in a good shift today. We hope you'll stay tuned for a great game.
