Born in the Somerset region of England, Conlon is comfortable across all three positions in the back row and has represented England at both Under 18 and Under 20 levels, he was part of the England U20s squad that won the 2014 Junior World Championship.
A product of the Exeter Chiefs academy, Conlon made his debut for the club in 2012 having signed his first professional contract earlier that year.
He made nine appearances for the Sandy Park outfit and also played for Championship side Cornish Pirates on loan during his spell with the Chiefs.
In May 2015, Conlon joined Saracens from Exeter Chiefs to join the club's senior academy. He was sent out on loan to Bedford Blues in 2015-16 season to continue his development, making 14 appearances.
Conlon returned to Bedford last season (2016-17) once again on loan, but featured nine times for Saracens at the end of the season.
