An experienced and versatile forward Jackie Patea-Fereti debuted for the Wellington Pride in 2006, as part of the first team to beat Auckland in a provincial cup Final.
Her hard work in the lineout, combined with her impressive physicality in the following seasons earned the Wainuiomata local a place in the 2012 Black Ferns squad.
In 2016 Patea-Fereti was called back into the Black Ferns squad for the Northern Tour as an injury replacement.
She captained the Wellington Pride for the 2017 Farah Palmer Cup season and was named the Pride Player of the Year that same year. Patea-Fereti carried her strong form into the 2018 season where the dynamic ball-runner made five appearances for the Black Ferns from the bench.
As of June 2019, she has 17 test caps.
