Adept at fullback, wing and centre Hoffman Maritz represented the Griffons and Free State at youth level and was included in the Young Lions squad in 2011.
After impressive performances with the Pukke in the Varsity Cup and for the Leopards Maritz signed for the Pumas in 2015
