A member of the NSW Waratahs Generation Blue program in 2018/2019 Robertson gained selection here following on from several strong performances for the NSW Schools.
After several strong performances in the Academy system, Robertson earned selection in the 2019 Junior Wallabies wider training squad.
In February 2021, he was added to the Waratahs' Super Rugby squad.
