Coming through the Tigers Academy,Catchpole made his Premiership debut for Tigers in a win over Gloucester in February 2015 and finished the season as Players’ Young Player of the Year.
He made a big impression in the team that went unbeaten through the pool stages of the LV= Cup during 2014/15 and retained his place in the squad for a tough run in the Premiership.
The 2013/14 season was a memorable one for Catchpole as he made his Tigers debut in a Cup victory over the Ospreys at Welford Road and won a World Junior Championship with England Under-20s.
He gained further senior experience with Nottingham and Doncaster Knights in the Championship and in the Premiership Sevens series with Tigers as a teenager.
In 2018, Catchpole announced that he is retiring from professional rugby.
