A powerful Georgian front rower, Gagi Bazadze, started his rugby career in the U.S for amateur side Old Blue in New York.
After showing some real promise he was named in the USA U20 squad in 2011.
Although he is eligible to represent USA and Georgia he is yet to make a test debut for either nation.
The following year he signed for French side Montpellier as a prospect player and was loaned out to RC Massy and Lille Métropole Rugby during the 2014/15 seasons.
Ahead of the 2015/16 season he left Montpellier to join La Rochelle and made his Top14 debut against his former club.
Bazadze helped La Rochelle the top of the Top 14 table during the 2016/17 season.
Bazadze signed a deal with the recently promoted Agen for 2017/18 season.
