Born in Albi in the Tarn , François Da Ros started playing rugby at the Union Athlétique Gaillacoise.
Da Ros plied his trade with Graulhet 2 after turning down a professional contract with SC Albi and worked in the family business of farming as well as being a meat salesman.
He joined Bayonne in 2009, at the age of 26, he signed his first professional contract with Bayonne and went on to play 34 times over three seasons.
He moved to Brive in 2012 as a medical joker and would go on to help the side regain Top 14 status.
He left Bayonne to join Biarritz ahead of the 2019/20 season and confirmed that the 2021/22 season would be his last at the age of 38.
