Francisco Gómez Kodela, born on July 7, 1984, is an Argentine rugby union player who currently plays as a prop for the Bordeaux Bègles club in the French league Top 14. He is also a member of the Argentina national team, known as Los Pumas.
Gómez Kodela made his international debut for Argentina in 2008 and has represented the national team on 11 occasions, with his last appearance coming in 2013. He has been a part of several important matches, including Argentina's historic first-ever win against the All Blacks on November 14, 2020.
His professional career in France has been notable. Gómez Kodela began his European journey with Biarritz in 2011 after signing from Argentine club Belgrano. During his three seasons with Biarritz, he made nearly 50 appearances.
In 2014, Gómez Kodela moved to Bordeaux-Begles, where he continued his successful career in the TOP 14. After three seasons with Bordeaux-Begles, he joined Lyon, where he has been a regular player for the side.
