Craig Price grew up in the Swansea Valley and attended Maes-y-Dderwen Secondary School and Brecon College. His early rugby was played for Abercrave juniors before he went on to play for Neath and Tonmawr. He joined the Scarlets in 2011 and made 19 appearances for Llanelli RFC, including the Premiership final against Pontypridd, in which he scored the only try of the game. Price is a member of the 2013/2014 Wales sevens squad.
