Canan Moodie, born on 5 November 2002, is a South African rugby union player who currently plays for the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup. He primarily plays as a wing.
Moodie was selected to represent the Blue Bulls in the 2022 Currie Cup Premier Division. He made his Currie Cup debut against Western Province in Round 2 of the tournament.
In August 2022, Moodie was named in the Springboks touring squad for their away matches against Australia in the Rugby Championship. He made his Test debut against Australia in Sydney and scored a try in the 38th minute of the match.
Moodie's regular position is as an outside back, and he possesses a height of 1.91 meters and weighs 87.7 kilograms. In addition to his appearances for the Blue Bulls, he has also represented the Springboks and the Vodacom Bulls.
Moodie attended Boland Landbou School before pursuing his rugby career.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Moodie has been named in the South African training squad.
