Menini moved to Toulon in 2014 after a season with Biarritz. The moved proved to be a good decision as he received regular game time and came off the bench in the Heineken Cup final in 2014 and helped his team to secure the trophy for a consecutive year. Later in 2014 he was called up to the French national squad to tour Australia and was a surprise selection in the starting XV in the second test which France ultimately lost 6-0.
As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Menini has had 19 European Cups appearances.
