Born in Huddersfield, England, Forsyth is a centre-cum-fullback who is a quality ball distributor. A graduate of QEGS in Wakefield, Forsyth began his professional career at Welford Road with Leicester Tigers before linking up with Sale in the summer of 2013. Ahead of the 2015/16 season he signed with the club with whom he attended rugby academy, Yorkshire Carnegie.
