Hotham joined Tasman Mako for the Bunnings NPC in 2021.
The following year, he starred in the New Zealand Under 20’s team who remained unbeaten while achieving a tournament victory at the Oceania Rugby Under 20 Championship in June.
July 2022 saw him sign for the Crusaders for the 3 seasons.
