A dynamic halfback Julien back started his career with Oyonnax and left for Beziers after they were relegated at the end of the 2015/16 season.
He made 55 appearances for Beziers during the 2016/17 and 2017/18 season before leaving the club for Pau ahead of the 2018/19 Top 14 season.
