Mangos was born in Tauranga and attended Outumoetai College, a leading co-educational secondary school based in Tauranga.
He plays his club rugby for Old Boys University and is a member of the Wellington Lions squad for the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup campaign.
Magos height and work rate allows him to play at lock and flank.
Mangos impressed during the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup season and earned a spot in the Hurricanes wide Super Rugby squad for the 2018 season.
