A former Napier Boys High School student, Trent Boswell represented New Zealand as a schoolboy, as well as the Hurricanes and Hawke's Bay.
He has since represented Hawke's Bay on the side of the scrum.
In 2017 Boswell-Wakefield decided to take an OE stint.
