Hoarau started his career at Toulon's age-grade system in 2011 before signing a deal with Beziers in 2016.
He spent three seasons at Beziers before returning to Toulon on a senior deal until 2021.
Hoarau made 10 appearances during the 2019/20 Top 14 season.
