Has scored five tries in the RBS 6 Nations; against England and Scotland in 2012, Ireland in 2013 and Scotland and Wales in the 2015 campaign
Made 4 starts in RWC2015, scoring a try vs France at Twickenham but not selected again until last summer's tour to the Americas.
Played in Italy's last three tests at No.11, scoring a decisive try against the Springboks.
