Johnes was added to the Wales Women senior squad having spent time in the Emerging squad.
She made her Six Nations debut in 2019 and made 4 appearances in the tournament.
January 2020 saw her being named in the 2020 Women's Six Nations squad for Wales.
The ferocious tackler signed a new deal with the Bristol Bears Women in June 2020.
