A consistent full back, Stoddart has invariably been first choice for the Scarlet’s since his breakthrough season in 2007-2008. Stoddart’s fine Scarlet’s form was rewarded with a Welsh cap against Australia in late 2007. Disaster struck for Stoddart in 2011, as a broken leg sustained against England in a World Cup warm up ruled him out of the World Cup.
