A seasoned hooker Martin Ferreira represented NMMU in the Varsity Cup which lead to a string of Provincial sides in South Africa until he got his break with the Southern Kings in the 2016 Super Rugby season.
His performances with the Kings lead to a contract offer with the Stormers which he accepted.
Having made 9 appearances with the Kings in Super Rugby Ferreira was named in the Stormers 2017 Super Rugby squad.
