A product of Grey College in Bloemfontein, Hollenbach started his rugby with the Cheetahs. A senior Currie Cup debut for the franchise in 2005 saw a quick promotion to Super Rugby a year later where his strong defence and vision made him an invaluable asset. The centre then moved to the Lions in 2009 where he’s become a regular feature for the province in both Super Rugby and the Currie Cup.
