Born in Hong Kong, Bristow attended Tomlinscote School in Frimley before studying Geography at Kingston University. A prop by trade, Bristow's professional career has included stints at the Bedford Blues and London Welsh.
In the summer of 2013 it was announced that Bristow would join Leicester Tigers. After 2 years with the Tigers he joined Wasps.
Bristow was announced as one of the five players who signed long-term contract extensions with Wasps in May 2016.
Ahead of the 2017/18 season signed for French PROD2 side Narbonne where he made 24 appearances before returning to England to link up with Sale Sharks.
