World renowned for his bone crunching tackles in defence and strong running lines in attack, Seru Rabeni has developed into a nightmare for opposition defenders across the game. Originally born in Bua, Fiji on the 27th of December 1978, Rabeni has earned the nickname 'Rambo' due to his hugely physical nature. Having played a season for the Highlanders in Super Rugby, Rabeni made the switch to England and joined Leicester Tigers. He quickly became a firm favourite with the Welford Road faithful amassing over 60 caps for the club. He has since moved on to enjoy stints with both Leeds and Stade Rochelais in the French leagues. The rampaging centre made his debut for the Fijian national side in May 2000 against Japan and played in both the 2003 & 2007 World Cups. Sadly, on March 15 2016 Rabeni passed away at his home in Nakasi.
