Initially signed to Edinburgh as an apprentice, Rennie made five consecutive appearances for Edinburgh in 2006/2007 season before being awarded with a professional contract. Soon after, Rennie established himself as Edinburgh’s first choice open-side flanker. The former Scotland U-21, A and 7’s international’s fine club form was rewarded when he made his Scotland debut off the bench against Ireland in the 2008 World Cup. To date, Rennie has won twenty Scotland caps, including being part of Scotland’s 2011 World Cup squad.
