
Noah Hotham (born 23 May 2003 in Hamilton, New Zealand) is a professional halfback currently playing for Tasman in the Bunnings NPC and the Crusaders in Super Rugby. Standing at 180 cm and weighing 94 kg, Hotham attended Hamilton Boys’ High School, where he served as sports prefect and vice‑captain of the First XV, achieving back-to-back victories in the Super 8 competition and leading the school sevens team to national titles . He joined the Tasman Mako as a development player in 2021, made his NPC debut that same year, and by mid‑2025 had accumulated 26 appearances and scored 50 points for the province.
Hotham earned a Super Rugby debut with the Crusaders in 2023 and was named their Rookie of the Year after making seven appearances that season.
By early 2025, he had played 32 matches and scored 30 points, In February 2025, he committed to the Crusaders through to 2027, a testament to his rapid development and importance to the team. ternational recognition followed swiftly: Hotham captained New Zealand U20s in 2022, making eight appearances and scoring 15 points.
He made his All Blacks debut in July 2024, coming off the bench in a test against Fiji, and earned the title of All Black No. 1216. he All Blacks coach praised his "big explosive" style and game control . By mid-2025, Hotham had also earned two caps with the All Blacks XV. With a blend of leadership qualities, athleticism, and tactical awareness, Noah Hotham has become one of New Zealand’s most promising halfbacks—a player to watch as he continues to develop at both club and international levels.
