Tullamore native, Fryday received her first international cap against Canada in the 6 Nations warm up fixture.
Having only started playing rugby with Tullamore a mere two years ago, Nichola just started her third season of rugby this summer - she also plays her provincial rugby with Connacht.
Fryday can play in the second-row or back-row and is currently studying Food and Agri Business in UCD.
Fryday was named in the Ireland squad for the 2017 6 Nations, where she added to her debut appearance.
In January 2019, she was yet again named in the Irish squad for the 2019 Women's Six Nations.
Ahead of the 2020 Women's Six Nations, Fryday has once again been named for the Ireland squad. She has had 8 appearances and will look to add to this total.
