Eames began his rugby journey at Newark RFC, and went on to make his first-team debut as a 19-year-old back in December 2013 for Nottingham Rugby.
He developed into a regular starter by the close of the 2015/16 season. Eames joined Doncaster Knights ahead of the 2017/18 season from Nottingham Rugby.
Standing at 6ft 7in and weighing in at 126kg, Eames scored two tries in 17 appearances for Béziers during the 2021/22 season.
He joined Bristol Bears ahead of the 2022/23 Premiership season.
