Melvyn Jaminet

Melvyn, born 30 June 1999 is a full back who played for Perpignan before joining Stade Toulousain in the Top 14 for the 2022/23 season.

Melvyn won his first cap for the France in 2021, when he played for the senior team against Australia. Unfortunately a bit of bad decision in the final minutes of the game, saw him give away a penalty to Australia who then won the match 23 -21.

A week later Melvyn scored a late penalty, one of seven he kicked in the match, which lead to France beating the Wallabies in Australia for the first time in 31 years. Out of 37 goal kicks for France in 2021, he had a success rate of 92%, converting 34 of them.

Melvyn won Pro D2 Player of the Year as well as Revelation of the Year at the La Nuit du Rugby awards.

In 2022, Melvyn played his first Six Nations.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Melvyn has been named to play for France.
