A blindside flanker who is an under 20 international, Laveau was selected ahead of the 2017 Six Nations tournament.
He has represented the France 7s team and spent two seasons with Bayonne between 2016-2018 before signing a deal with Castres.
The 2020 Top 14 season becomes Laveau's second year at the French club.
