Mark Reddish made 14 appearances for the Hurricanes in his first two seasons with the team in 2011 and 2012. Reddish is a hard working, no-nonsense player at home at lock or on the side of the scrum at blindside flanker.
He made his run-on debut at flanker in the first match of the 2011 season, was injured for five matches mid-campaign and then appeared in the match-day 22 every week in the second half of the season.
In 2012 he came off the bench four times. He first played for the Wellington Lions in 2009 in a Ranfurly Shield defence match against Wairarapa-Bush in Masterton, scoring a try in a Wellington record 90-19 win. He started his first NPC match a few weeks later in a 16-15 Ranfurly Shield defence against Auckland, making 12 appearances for the Lions in all in his rookie season for the Lions.
In May 2016, Harlequins confirmed to have signed Reddish for the 2016/17 season.
The New Zealander made five appearances for Harlequins and scored one try in the win away at Bristol Rugby.
Reddish also started for Harlequins in the second row against the Maori All Blacks in the 150th Anniversary Challenge match at The Stoop in November 2016.
He officially announced his retirement from the game in June 2017 due to concussion.
