A very accomplished lock, Chisholm made his mark in Australian rugby for the Brumbies whom he representes over 100 times. The Queensland native made huge strides in Super Rugby and was soon selected for the Wallabies where played 58 games for his country.
2011 saw Chisholm move away from Australian rugby where he joined Bayonne in France. He captained the French outfit for 3 seasons and made 89 appearances. In 2015 he joined Munster on a 2 year deal.
After 18 appearances, Chisholm finished out the season on the sidelines.
In May 2017, Chisholm revealed that he will retire from rugby at the end of the season.
