Marcus Street

6th Feb 1999 1.85m/117kg Tighthead Prop

Marcus Street, a promising prop, transitioned to the senior ranks at Exeter Chiefs ahead of the 2017/18 season. He emerged from the club's Academy system, initially training at Bicton College and then at Exeter College, where he contributed to winning the National AASE League title in November 2016.

Street gained valuable experience by playing for Plymouth Albion on dual-registered terms and representing the Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup, as well as featuring for the Exeter Braves in the A League.

He made his first start for the Chiefs in November 2016 against Cardiff Blues and had an exceptional season, earning a place in the England Under-20s squad for both the Six Nations and Junior World Championships, despite being two years younger than the age group.

Since then, Street has continued to develop within the Chiefs' setup, benefiting from the guidance of experienced international players such as Harry Williams, Tomas Francis, and Greg Holmes to enhance his skills as a tight-head prop.

With over 60 first team appearances under his belt, Street is considered a highly-rated player with a promising future.

In February 2017, Street achieved the unusual feat of making his England U20 debut against Italy, followed by playing for the U18 side against France just nine days later.

He represented England in the World Rugby U20 Championship, despite being two years younger than most players in the tournament, and featured in four matches, including scoring tries against Samoa and Australia in the pool stage.

Street joined the Exeter Chiefs Academy and captained the Devon U16 team before making his senior appearance for the Chiefs against Cardiff Blues in November 2017. He was included in England's U20 Six Nations squad in 2019, further highlighting his potential and talent in the game.
