Kiniviliame Naholo might even be quicker than his All Black brother Waisake Naholo.
Naholo was an internet sensation as schoolboy scoring 40 tries in 20 games for Hastings Boys' High School's 1st XV in his final year of school.
His performances as schoolboy meant that he was hot property for the provincial teams in New Zealand but he decided to follow his brother's footsteps by signing with Taranaki.
He went on to debut for Taranaki in their Ranfurly Shield defence game against Heartland Championship side Tikorangi Domain and proved he's more than simply a schoolboy bully.
He beat four defenders with multiple steps for his first five-pointer before he gassed the opposition from 45m for his second, a burst which included an eye-opening step and fend on his debut.
Naholo increased his growing reputation in his first Mitre 10 Cup season with Taranaki in 2018.
He made his debut for the Chiefs in the 2020 Super Rugby season after an impressive run for Taranaki.
In 2021, he made over 400 carrying metres in 71 carries in his 7 games for the Taranaki Bulls.
Having signed with the Hurricanes for the 2023 Super Rugby season, Kini Naholo will be aiming to be a regular in the starting 15.
