The former Kelston Boys' High School pupil has developed into a regular fixture in the Stags set up in recent seasons playing 25 games in 2015 for Southland at either fullback or on the wing.
Following some impressive performances for Southland Ngaluafe was named in the New Zealand 7s squad participated in Dubai and Cape Town during the 2016/17 season.
In April 2017, he was named in the Provincial Barbarians side to face the Lions in their tour opener in Whangarei on June 3.
