A pacey outside back who is just as comfortable on the wing as he is at fullback.
Hyland has been a regular starter for Northland since he joined the side in 2015.
In 2017 he signed for the Blues for the 2018 Super Rugby and scored a brace on his Super Rugby debut against Sunwolves.
He was not re-signed for the 2019 season.
2020 saw Jordan returning north to provide experience and competitiveness to an outside back division brimming with talent.
