Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Andress is a powerful scrummaging prop. A graduate of the illustrious Campbell College in Northern Ireland, Andress began his career at Exeter in 2007 before joining Worcester in the summer of 2012. He has also turned out for the Irish A side.
In July 2016, Andress made the move over from Edinburgh to Munster on a one-year deal.
In December 2016, Andress agreed a short term contract with Connacht Rugby to act as cover for current front-row injuries.
